OK so we thought we would run a competition in order to come up with a new village logo where we can put it onto the new village hall along with the website, Facebook and also we thought it would be pretty cool to have it on the Chillington sign coming into the village itself...!


We asked the children at Stokenham school to come up with a logo that they think would look good taking into account the beautiful area we live in and some of the things that are associated with Chillington and the surrounding areas.


The entries were amazing and of course so many and so we asked 3 people from the area, Peter Moore from Forest and Beach , Alex Page Landlord of The Open Arms and Louise Spilsbury who has just stepped down from the CCA after 10 dedicated years to decide on the final 3.


This was no easy task I can assure you and when it came down to just 1 winner they were all stuck on 2 Logos as they liked them both for different reasons - to this we decided to have a joint first winner and to ask a graphic designer to incorporate the two into one.
